amazing trip

i have been out of internet touch for days and have to get up to go to machu picchu tomorrow at 630 am. this computer won´t do caps, thus the problem. yesterday was one of the most unbelievable days of my life. working at 14000 ft higher than i thought the people are amazing and very very poor we have been helping build these ovens inside of peoplés houses so they won´t have to breathe all the smoke from the fire more on that later my hotel is on the side of the mountain here in cusco and it is in the upper 20´s and there is no heat or hot water in my room. but this is nothing compared to what these people go through. they have a hard life but are so warm. we were dancing in the village with them its going to take me a while to sort through all the photos so hopefully i will add some soon when i can get back the internet. its hard to figure out the computer system here in peru the keyboard is totally different im rambling the culture here mostly speak quechua in the mountains and not spanish but here in cusco my spanish is working my fingers are freezing so more later. larry

Packing For Peru

Countdown has begun. I leave Thursday morning at 3:30 am. I think I should be able to sleep on the plane. Wish there was a cone of silence for loud, chatty people or noisy babies, but thank God for earplugs and music. Started taking all my Homeopathic concoctions for the dreaded altitude sickness, but I think I'll be ok. I'm taking my new small Martin guitar, and my Canon with the great lenses, so I'll hopefully get some amazing pix, and write some songs. We had a conference call on Sunday with about 20 of the group. We have 40 musicians, artists, and friends going. Later.
